We are looking for a Sr. Analyst of Enterprise Data to join our growing team. The primary mission of the Enterprise Data team is to enable the availability and reliability of data across the enterprise to support Elastic’s strategic objectives by driving how data is defined, consumed, delivered, and governed.
This role will be BI(Business Intelligence) and metrics focused, providing the analysis needed to support our regular reporting cycles, as well as generating insights through new reports and dashboards to enhance understanding of our business performance. Additionally, the candidate will work closely with various business partners across Elastic, such as FP&A, Sales Strategy and Marketing, in extensive reporting, analysis and data management for larger enterprise-level decision making.

What You Will be Doing
Work with business partners to identify, craft and develop enterprise level data sources, performance metrics and reports (e.g. renewals metrics, market penetration, customer cluster analysis, consumption forecast, ARR, etc.) that accelerate business insights and decision making at scale
Develop reporting and visualization capabilities that drive business decision making.
Support delivery and implementation of data certification process and initiatives.
Implement comprehensive data quality monitoring processes to help proactively manage and maintain the collection of queries, workflows and jobs during reporting cycles.
Perform quantitative analysis, data extrapolation and data mining to drive insight; present findings in a way to see beyond the numbers.
Understand and build end to end data flows and process maps.
What You Bring Along
Several years of relevant work experience (Business Analytics, Data Modeling/Analytics); experience working with structured and unstructured data; familiarity with data sourced from common ERP and CRM systems including: Salesforce, NetSuite, etc.
3+ years of experience with Tableau (defining data models and measures). Ability to manage end-to-end development including initial data transformation in SQL, design and creation of dashboards on requirement, as well launch and maintenance of metrics dashboards
3+ years of experience in SQL, and the ability to translate business requirements into SQL queries to tell stories with data. We’re looking for someone that is comfortable reading, writing, and making improvements to our code.
Solid understanding of basic statistics and econometrics; Machine Learning and Predictive Modeling experience is a plus
Reliable teammate but also able to work independently and think creatively to come up with innovative, high quality solutions to sophisticated problems
Strong communication skills, being able to understand both the functional (business) needs and the analytics/technology, and able to communicate effectively to audiences at all levels
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly evolving priorities in a fast growing company
