Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Sports Content Data Specialist to join our team. In total we are keeping track of over 250 sports and counting spread over thousands of competitions, so there is always something that interests you. Olympic Games? Check. Tour de France? Check. Formula 1? Check. In this role you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering and checking sports-related data into our systems. These competitions are delivered in multiple languages to major clients such as the NOS, Eurosport, Hyundai and LG. Your attention to detail and knowledge of various sports will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data. If you have a passion for sports and a keen eye for data accuracy, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

Enter and check sports-related data including game results, schedules, player statistics and other relevant informationReview and verify data for accuracy and consistency, ensuring that all relevant fields are correctly filled.Conduct research and gather data from various sources such as official websites.Collaborate with other team members to ensure data consistency and resolve any discrepancies or errors.Adhere to data standards and procedures to maintain a high level of quality.Monitor data sources regularly to track changes in sports data.Provide support to other team members or departments regarding sports data inquiries or requests.First line of contact for clients to resolve their questions and concerns as soon as possible.Stay updated with the latest sports rules and regulations to ensure accurate data.

Requirements:

HBO diploma or relevant working experience.Good communication in Dutch and English.Strong knowledge and understanding of various sports.Excellent attention to detail regarding sports dataProficient computer skills and preferably experience with data entry software, spreadsheets, or databases.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts as live sports is the main focus of our job.
