Responsibilities
Leading the charge on implementing ML/AI tools & techniques for delivering a best-in-class Mortgage We’ve rolled our first ML model into production, off the back of this we’re setting up a new ML/AI product team to push this further with this role being a critical part of the team Providing evidence that changes deliver value Delivering analytics projects We’re focused on self-service to embolden stakeholders to ask and answer their own questions based on numbers and not just gut (i.e. teach someone to fish…) The projects we prioritise enable this and subsequently if not have a clear business impact otherwise They can range across verticals, whether it’s rebuilding how we assess our Mortgage Experts or imagining a new Mortgage Journey with Product
Requirements
What does a great candidate look like
Curious Adept at turning business problems into data problems into actions/impact Great communication skills Engaged and excited about the constantly evolving world of data/ML/AI While years of experience are valuable, we’ll prioritise finding the right individual for the job
Technical Skills
Experience with ML/AI in python/R/another programming language Strong SQL skills Background in statistics and/or programming
Nice to have
GCP/AWS experience, ideally with their respective ML/AI services Tableau/Visualisation tool experience DBT experience
