Job Description
Minimum of 6+ years of analytics expertise in applying statistical solutions to business problemsTeam oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and agile working stylePost-graduate degree (Masters or PhD) in a Quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or equivalentMust have experience with Hadoop, SQL, Spark/Pyspark and PythonBuild or have knowledge of ETL pipelines in Spark, Python, HIVE that process transaction and account level data and standardize data fields across various data sourcesAnalyzing large data sets using programming languages such as Python, R, SQL and/or SparkBuilding predictive and descriptive statistical models using machine learning tool kit, Jupyter notebooks, Python, and/or SASExperience in the application of descriptive analytics, predictive modelling, and machine learning technique to business problemsExperience planning, organizing, and leading end to end projects with diverse cross-functional teamsExperience planning, organizing, and managing multiple large projects with diverse cross-functional teamsDemonstrated ability to incorporate new techniques to solve business problemsDemonstrated resource planning and delivery skills
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
• The person will be part of the Data Science in the CEMEA team
• Specific responsibilities will include:
• Designing and delivering powerful business-centric insights from data through storyboarding, analytics, visualization, and ML
• Building & helping our partners to build data science capabilities & analytical solutions to solve their business problems
• Drive innovation through using data science techniques
• Act as data science advocate within our partners, advising and coaching analytical teams and sharing best practices and case studies.
• Continually look at the environment to challenge our assumptions around new sources of data, potential analytics partners, tools, talent, and infrastructure.
• Explore leading methodologies and best practices to other teams and importing successful methodologies from other international markets
