The Role
An incredible opportunity to work on one of our highest profile accounts within Publicis Groupe, this is a role that will be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge data solutions that drive the success of our media campaigns. Your expertise will be pivotal in shaping the future of our data-driven marketing strategies.
Not only will you work on projects leveraging first party data activation, but this is also a highly respected account by key partners like Google, Meta and others, opening endless opportunities for growth and pushing innovation beyond belief!
Bringing essential data engineering skills, the successful candidate will focus on crafting automated media reporting solutions, utilising audience segments and 1st party data. The role will drive the design and creation of these solutions, employing APIs, Google BigQuery, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will collaborate with dedicated teams to design connected customer experiences across digital media paid channels, extending into public “.com” and secure banking environments. This activity will be part of broader initiatives, involving the integration of our clients’ first-party data into biddable media activities that work cohesively to achieve business objectives related to major product portfolios, such as mortgages, credit cards, business and wealth services, everyday banking, and savings accounts, among others.
As the Data Engineer, you will collaborate across teams to develop and implement advanced data solutions for media reporting and analytics, utilising platforms like DV360, Google Campaign Manager, and SA360.
You will be able to drive the design and orchestration of secure Clean Room Solutions, such as Ads Data Hub and Facebook Advanced Analytics. All in all, you’ll gain exposure to the latest trends in digital marketing and Adtech technologies, lending the opportunity to position yourself as a leading expert in the field.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly into the Senior Analytics Director, you will:
Create and manage Virtual Machine instances within the GCP for running daily Python scripts to extract data from APIs or Google SheetsDesign, build, and automate media dashboards/reporting solutions using BigQuery, consolidating data from multiple sources (Meta, Google, SA360, DV360, Google Analytics, etc.)Design and orchestration of secure Clean Room Solutions, such as Ads Data Hub and Facebook Advanced AnalyticsBuild sophisticated analytics models that leverage media data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities, aiding in refining targeting strategies and enhancing campaign effectivenessDevelop and optimise data pipelines to efficiently collect, transform, and store media data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility for analysis.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing experts, data analysts, and media professionals, to further impact data driven initiatives
Experience Requirements
3+ years’ marketing data analytics/solution architecture experience with ideally a background in Data Engineering. A degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or related field is desired but not essentialAdvanced application of tools including SQL, Python, Big Query, API build. Alternative platform experience in this area will also be consideredExperience in leveraging data from Adobe, Google, or Salesforce marketing experience cloud platforms Experience and functional use case/operational experience working with CDP/ DMP for either a specific or broad range of orchestration across digital media & marketing Working experience with teams across data layer management/understanding would be a bonus Ability to craft and collaborate with stakeholders, including internal media and analytics practitioners, and client led data and capability teams Comfortable presenting to stakeholders with a focus on craft/campaign related input or output Financial services experience is a plus yet not essential Other minimum technical requirements: Python, SQL, Google Big Query, Web/Media Analytics, GCP stack, Data Pipelines, Google’s Ads Data Hub (ADH)
