We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join the Digital Commerce team at Biglight.
As a Data Analyst you will play a crucial role in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights for optimising our clients’ digital commerce strategies.
You will work closely with the Head of Digital Commerce, Digital Commerce Specialists and Client Partners, to drive data-informed decision-making and enhance our overall programme performance.

Requirements
TASK & RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Collection and Analysis Gather and extract data from various sources, such as digital analytics tools, to support analysis and reporting requirements. Clean, transform and validate data to ensure accuracy and reliability of analysis. Utilise statistical methods and tools to analyse large datasets and identify patterns, trends and insights. Develop and maintain data models, dashboards and reports to effectively present findings to both internal stakeholders and clients Performance Tracking and Optimisation Monitor key performance indicators, such as conversion rates, customer acquisition and retention. Conduct in-depth analysis of performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and recommend data-driven strategies to optimise client roadmaps. A/B Testing and Experimentation Support with the end-to-end testing cycle; from opportunity identification and prioritisation through to metrics validation and experiment results analysis. Analyse test results and provide actionable recommendations in collaboration with Digital Commerce Specialists and Optimisation Specialists. Business Insights and Reporting Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to communicate performance metrics, trends and actionable insights to internal teams and clients. Collaborate with stakeholders to define key business questions and develop analytical approaches to address them. Conduct deep-dive analysis to answer specific business questions, identify opportunities and provide strategic recommendations. Data Governance and Quality Assurance Ensure data accuracy, integrity and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Implement data governance practices, including data documentation and data quality monitoring. Contribute to the development and maintenance of data infrastructure and analytics tools to support our data analysis and reporting needs.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, EDUCATION AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
Minimum 3 Years experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in the digital commerce industry. Extensive experience with major web analytics tools, primarily Google Analytics. Experience of A/B testing; including use of tools such as Monetate, Optimizely and Qubit. Experience working with customer experience tools such as ContentSquare and Quantum Metric. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and interpret trends and patterns in data. Strong communication skills to effectively present findings and insights to stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced agency environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality. Experience with BigQuery and/or SQL is nice to have but not a requirement for the role. Experience with major data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Looker Studio is nice to have but not a requirement for the role.
