Job Description

The Cloud Data Analyst will be tasked with designing, developing, and maintenance of new and existing cloud-based (or similar) big data solutions. Actively working with management, the Cloud Data Analyst will coordinate job processing and development status based on contractual obligations and agreed-upon timelines and due dates. The Analyst will help team members with production and/or development-related tasks and supply direction and instruction, as necessary.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, create, and/or enhance database systems or programs based on and related to user or system design specifications Help in writing new database programs and collaborate with senior staff to develop new systemsCoordinate scheduling of project processing steps, monitor progress, and ensure completion Analyze projects upon receipt for possible processing and scheduling problemsEnsure completed testing of assigned projects, and review results for inconsistencies and inefficient codingReview output reports for accuracy and relay to proper personnelMaintain proper reports and/or set up ad-hoc reports using available software toolsPerform departmental technical processing from set-up to executionDocument changes and additions to existing systemCommunicate job process and keep proper team members informed of job statusPrepare complex and detailed flow charts of existing databases including list maintenance, updates, and reportsMonitor, evaluate, and present solutions to problem areasParticipate in client and development meetings to figure out client or project needsDesign, develop, and enhance existing databases, emphasizing processing efficienciesWork with team members to review project tasks, decide the base plan of action, and properly interpret processing specifications and instructionsDefine and implement new or enhanced processing standards and proceduresLead the preparation and completion of project documentationRecommend others on how systems interact with the processes created in the databaseSupply guidance to other team members to achieve project goalsLead a team in the design, development, and implementation of new databases or new proceduresHelp in the development of training sessions when technical advice is needed, and act as a technical resource to all Experian teamsAdvise developmental groups and client management on new or existing products

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of related work experience including database design and developmentBachelor’s Degree with computer science coursework, or equivalent experienceStrong working knowledge of database systemsStrong knowledge of programming, utilities, and open systemsStrong SQL knowledge preferred Knowledge of Microsoft Integration Services (SSIS) Packages (preferred), knowledge and experience of Cloud Computing with Snowflake, AWS, and/or GCP (preferred)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above.  Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and education.  This position is also eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, life and disability insurance, generous paid time off including paid parental and family care leave, an employee stock purchase plan and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
