The ideal candidate enjoys the challenges presented by working with enterprise data, and is passionate about championing data quality and accuracy. They will need to possess technical expertise in large scale data warehouses and enterprise data visualization tools with hands-on knowledge of advanced SQL, and preferrably experience working with CRM and ERP datasets. Experiences with data science and sales organizations are a plus.
Distill complex datasets into insights, providing executives with clear recommendations
Create automated reporting and visualizations for users across different orgs
Produce reporting and process documentation to facilitate internal knowledge sharing
Design and build BI application solutions that are accurate, scalable, and efficiently meeting the needs of the business
Prototype solutions and recommend the adoption of new technologies, continually improving our business partners’ experiences
Technical Qualifications:
5+ years experience in Data Engineering of highly scalable data platforms/ecosystems.
5+ years’ experience in building and managing data platforms/ecosystems.
3+ years’ experience in Snowflake with knowledge in distributed computing preferred.
Demonstrated innate passion for Data Engineering and data architecture pertaining to Analytics.
Knowledge of Cloud data solutions, data engineering, data platforms and analytics and modern ways of automating data ingesting using cloud-based and on-premise technologies.
Hands-on experience in cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud
Proficiency in SQL and database table design – able to write structured and efficient queries on large data sets.
Experience in a role performing data warehouse and analytics solution design and development using a variety of techniques.
Understanding of data architecture design, data modeling, and physical database design and tuning.
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, and/or Power BI.
Work with data warehouse architects, data scientists, and data collection application engineers.
Propose data schema and data flow optimization for reporting performance and enhancement as needed.
Understanding data and query optimization, query profiling, and query performance monitoring tools and techniques.
Creating and maintaining business requirements and other technical documentation.

The annual base salary range is: $105,000-158,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
